Lip Mask or Lip Scrub?

Beauty

Our lips are a beautiful, tactile sensory organ that spends most of our lifetimes exposed to everything, more so than any other part of your body. When we think about skincare most of us don't think about lip care as separate from an overall skincare regime. But the skin on your lips is thin, compared to the skin on the rest of your face or body and is not protected by hair, sweat, or oils which keep the rest of the skin on your body hydrated, smooth, and protected.

For these reasons, your lips dry out faster, more often and become chapped. They require help to stay healthy and smooth. So what’s best to keep them healthy and sexy?

Lip Mask or Lip Scrub?

Preventive Measures 101; Mouth; Smiling; Red lipstick; Lip scrub; Teeth; Tongue licking lips.

You've probably heard of lip masks and lip scrubs and wondered, "what's the difference?"

A lip mask is used for heavy duty moisturizing, it let's the lips soak up as much moisture necessary and is recommended as a night time regimen. It can be used 3 to 5 times a week. It can be used as part of a nighttime routine, or it can be applied throughout the day if you want to keep your lips looking fresh.

A lip scrub is another option for keeping your pout looking pretty. They exfoliate dead skin from your lips, keeping them free of radicals that can dry them out. It is recommended to use a lip scrub once a week. This helps to renew the skin on the lips.

Both methods of lip beauty care are beneficial to your lips especially when you follow up with a lip balm like Preventive Measures 101. Because lip care is very important, and we do it so well, in addition to our current moisture release lip balms, we will be debuting new products to our current line in the future. So stay tuned.
